When buying a dog from Merrihill Kennels, whether finished, a started dog, or a 5- month-old puppy,we guarantee that wild birds have been shot for him.We also provide lots of wild bird contacts for our dogs.
Our breeding produces intelligence, beauty, style and, most importantly, an obsession with finding and pointing birds. We offer the finest bloodlines available. Merrihill features the sire Island Grove Brute, a 6-time Champion. Our breeding bitch is the offspring of 16-time Champion Elhew Swami who has the most open championships ever won by a shooting dog.
Although Merrihill Kennel is based in northeastern Ohio, we spend a lot of time away from home. Travelling to North Dakota for six weeks in late summer and early fall and the Texas Panhandle for the winter allows us to run our dogs year-round.
It is my belief that the only way to develop young dogs and keep older dogs enthused is exposure to wild birds. |
